Current Issues
While the legislature is in session, all eyes are on some of the legislation being considered. Tea Party groups across went through a process to determine which issues were the most important them. This is a list of those that made the final cut.
- Performance Based Budgeting
- Illegal Immigration
- State Sovereignty
- Education Reform
- Equitable Property Taxation (Phased Approach)
- Unconstitutional Welfare Programs (Phased Approach)
Current Issues Discussed @ 9/27/11 Meeting
These are the links for issues to be discussed at the second meeting of the month of the CMTP:
WE MUST MAKE THIS ELECTION THE ELECTION THAT WILL ESTABLISH THE CONSERVATIVE VIEWS OF THE PEOPLE OF MISSISSIPPI TO PROTECT THIS STATE FROM THE SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST EFFORTS OF WHAT IS MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE DEMOCRAT PARTY. WHAT THIS DOES IS TO RE-ESTABLISH THE BILL OF RIGHTS, ESPECIALLY THE TENTH AMENDMENT. The Tenth Amendment is the Constitution's Cornerstone to seal in perpetuity the intent of Separation of Powers by the Checks and Balances method. There are other chinks in the armor, but the Tenth Amendment states that the States decide that what is not enumerated in the Constitution is left to the States and the people respectively.
One of the things we must establish in this coming legislative session is to inform our legislators of the issues that pertain to 1. Fiscal Responsibility, 2. Free Market principles, 3. Limited Government. There will be bills introduced that support these ideals, so it is important that you know what YOUR legislators are writing and supporting that are antithetical to this and those that agree with them.
I have been in contact and maintained a dialogue with my State Representative, Bill Denny long before the Tea Party was established in Ms. Sometimes we are in agreement and sometimes not so much. Bill Denny is here tonight to discuss what is going on in his race and the areas where we can help the conservative efforts in the House of Rep.
Phil Bryant has just put out a communique to let us all know that the Dem. Governor's Association has contributed $90K to help Johnnie Dupree. THis is an especially important race, because the effective unemployment rate is 17% or higher. Gov. Barbour has been working feverishly to bring economic development to us as evidenced by the recent special session. I urge all of you to find a way to help with his campaign; make phone calls, distribute signs, donate, call your friends and neighbors to give them the information about his plan for Ms.

This is a post from Canada that reveals SOME of the WAR that the left and the Obama Administration are waging against the culture, the Constitution, and the laws of our great country.

They are coming at us from every side; education, culture, health care, insurance, banking and financial institutions, our religious convictions, and they are using and contorting our economy to vacuum moneys from the U.S. Treasury by this Stimulus package to give more money to Unions to launder tax dollars from them into the Democrat/Socialist Party of the United States. That is also the (LOOKS TO BE ) SOLE REASON to put $535 Million to Solyndra, the now bankrupt Solar Energy Company in California. The head hauncho's in appearing before the Congressional hearings while pleading privilege under the Fifth Amendment make me believe that some very serious conspiratorial actions of less than lawful use of the moneys took place. Along with this form of deception goes this post:

The gentleman who wrote this piece accuses Obama of more lies about the efficiency of the whole Congress, when in fact the Senate has refused to pass anything that comes close to the remedies that the House is sending its way on the budget, the funding of FEMA for the numerous disaster relief calls. The House at the STRONG motivation of those freshmen who went to congress this year has been doing its work in response to the dire economic and cultural climate we face under the assaults to our great country and its people. While I would like to see even more and real conservatives elected to that house, we will have to continue to be strong voices to those who hesitate to support the constraints on this Administration. What we are being given is the record of the legislation they will enact, once we regain the majority back in the Congress. We can not give up telling them to stay on track, the conservative track that is.
Right now I am spending a mountain of time looking at the voting records of the liberal legislators running in this year's State election. Those records are revealing to me much in the way their ideas on bills to show their lack of reality sense about the needs of Mississippians. So, too I am looking at the bills they write. That gives me so much information about how they believe the country should be governed by a large central government that hands out the money with all the strings attached to give you absolute certainty how you are going to spend your money and live your life.
Now for my final offering, I want to point out that due to the embarrassment/debacle of the housing crisis situation and it being a causative factor in what is happening in our financials, this blog post about the overwhelming debt being faced by the five largest banks, (JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and HSBC) are hundreds of Trillions of dollars in over their heads.
So what the Administration is doing is to get every last penny out of every source he can find.

There is a concerted effort to keep the electorate occupied with other matters such as the debt crisis AGAIN to occupy our concerns with Washington, so that we remain oblivious to their other shenanigans.
